Shun Premier 8" Chef's Knife

I love cooking, but until recently, I've always used hand-me-down knives.  I bought my first Japanese chef's knife last year.  It is a Shun Premier 8" Chef's Knife.  It is really lightweight and very precise and sharp.  I love prepping food with this knife!!

The quality of this knife is what I've come to expect from things made in Japan.  The pakka wood handle feels like it's molded into the steel.

I was cutting daikon to eat with bagna cauda, and one person remarked how precise my knife cuts were.  I was so happy that this knife helped me to make really nice preparation of my yasai!
